Related: About this forumJust got a call from the political arm of Planned Parenthood
They told me that I was on the list because I had made donations to PP in the past. I told them I had donated their money to Bernie, but would be glad to make another donation to him in their name.
I believe the guy called me something unmentionable as I told him to "Have a nice day!".
Bouncing over to Act Blue to make that additional donation .....

(3,111 posts)The powers that be that have sold us out for so long are lining up? I don't know about you, but that just makes me feel the Bern even stronger.
Not only is Bernie more likely to win in November, but he has been consistent in standing up for the things that I care about.
I believe in Planned Parenthood, but nobody from their "political arm" is going to convince me to go against Bernie. I'm with him all the way.

(11,910 posts)I probably would have donated because I usually make at least a yearly donation to them, if not one, than a couple of smaller ones. I had already made a few small ($25) donations this year, and would have probably done so again. Was glad to hear him say though (and hope it's correct) that donations to the political arm and the actual service parts of PP were separate.

(4,211 posts)Planned Parenthood Action Fund received $15,315 from Planned Parenthood. Your money could very well be getting used to support hillary.

(11,366 posts)I've been trying to find how the two exchange money because I figured they did.
And, I have told them that I don't want my money to support CorpoHill in any way, shape or form.
It saddens me they slapped half their supporters in the face and lessened the donations we would give women in need as a result. There was NO REASON to do that. They could have waited until their was a clear nominee.

(5,856 posts)about this tactic. Don't get me wrong, I respect you making your own decisions, but as a Bernie supporter myself, I am conflicted as to how I can support both PP and Bernie. Maybe match my donation to them to Bernie?

(2,968 posts)consequences for their actions. Back Hillary? Fine. I back Bernie so I couldn't possibly
back you. Bernie is a nice guy, so we (being Bernie also)#weareBernie have to go after them.
PP will survive this.

(1,024 posts)taught anymore in schools in this country? Tactics by the privileged are so dismally shameful and borders on stupidity. These hob-nobbing establishment appointed so-called management are only in their rolls to collect and rarely if at all there to use their noggin. So out of touch. The sociopaths at the top days are coming to an end. The pendulum swings back once more.
