Sanders mentions how the vigorous campaign is going and remarks that he and President Obama discussed foreign and domestic policy and a bit of politics at their productive, enjoyable WH meeting yesterday.
The senator reminds the American people that under the leadership of Pres. Obama and Vice Pres. Biden the nation was brought back on track at a time when the world's financial system was on the verge of collapse in 2009 and there were massive job losses and disruption after Pres. Bush left office.
Sanders also said that Pres. Obama and Vice Pres. Biden have been fair and even handed during the current 2016 campaign process. Jane Sanders stands next to husband Bernie at the WH press event afterwards.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, accompanied by his wife Jane held a press conference after meeting with the President for an hour yesterday Jan. 27 at the White House, Executive Mansion. The VT Democratic presidential candidate spoke of the meeting, his relationship with Obama, the 2016 campaign and recent rallies on the trail, and he fielded reporters' questions about Clinton's call for a new debate and other topics.
