Report from on the ground here in Nevada.

The Bernie Sanders Nevada campaign is making an all out push for victory in the Nevada Democratic caucuses scheduled to be held on February 20. Bernie can be seen and heard often on TV and radio spots. And the campaign has just sent out a state-wide mailer.

Historically, it has been very difficult for pollsters to predict the Nevada caucus results. And complicating the matter all the more is the fact that precinct level caucuses will elect delegates to the state convention and it's the state convention that will choose national delegates. And there will be a complex selection process at the state convention which makes it possible that whoever gets the most votes in precinct level caucuses may not get the most national delegates coming out of the state convention. But we have some very savvy operatives here in Nevada and we are prepared to carry the fight to the state convention and make sure that we get our fair share of delegates.

The conventional wisdom has Clinton winning in populous Clark County (Las Vegas) with Sanders prevailing everywhere else. The trick will be for us to keep Hillary's margin in Clark County to a manageable level so that we can overcome it with votes from the rest of the state. I know that this is anecdotal but here in rural Northeast Nevada I don't know anyone who is supporting Clinton and I am looking for us to send a full slate of Sanders delegates to the state convention.

A Sanders victory in the Nevada caucuses would be very big and IMHO there is a good chance of that happening and this is not just wishful thinking on my part. There is still time to register to vote if you haven't already and I would urge everybody to register as a Democrat and go out to support Bernie at your local caucus on Saturday, February 20. If you are in Elko County and need transportation to get to the caucus please PM me and I will be happy to arrange transportation for you to and from the caucus.

going on down in Clark County. But I do think that the Clinton campaign here in Nevada is running scared and this may very well be a tactic to divert attention from Bernie's surge in this state.

Of a Las Vegas Casino?
Trespass in the service areas?
If you had, you are in jail. Casinos are not know for their tolerance with trespassers.

Other than much ado about a small article mentioning a Union Executive as a source.
I know of no arrests.

Bernie seemed to do better in urban areas and Hillary appeared stronger in rural areas.

I know several members of SEIU that are royally PISSED their committee endorsed Hillary without a membership vote.

It was back in November so I can see them changing.

I'm honestly a little worried about a similar out come, more "irregularities," etc.

Thanks for the update!

Nevada would be a great win. As a Latina, I wish my people would cross over to Bernie in bigger numbers. He is so right for us.

I look forward to reading more of your posts. I get to caucus in late March.

If I am wrong about that, please correct me.

But if I an right and Nevada goesc for Hillary , it will be for meg an indication of how important tuition- free highe education at state schools is in this election.

My opinion. I think that is a huge problem for the middle class.
