Capital is nothing without labor. I wish labor could unite again and show that power as a reminder to the ruling class (general strikes, etc.)

this isn't a game. It's real life and people are dying because the 1% have written the laws in their favor. More profits for them means more expensive lifesaving medication for us. If we can't afford our lifesaving medication, we die, simple as that. But that's only one thing out of dozens that's affecting our lives because of the 1% greed.

I see where the OP is going with this though, maybe to the 1% it's a game, but if it was, they wouldn't have tried so hard to change laws in their favor for the past 45 years. But we definitely do need to stand up and roar loud to scare the shit out of them. Maybe things will change then.

With Bernie leading the charge as our general, and we following close behind and not afraid to revolt, things will definitely change for the better.

where else could the ruling class literally steal the well being
of tens of millions with barely a whimper of protest?

The U.S. is the opposite of "the home of the brave."

Interestingly, Bernie gets this . .
"In the last 30 years, there has been a massive transfer of wealth from the middle class and working families of this country. The middle class has become poorer and trillions of dollars have been transferred to the top one-tenth of 1 percent…"

The question is, what are we going to DO about it?

People are too busy with their lives to pay attention to what is going on around them, until it really hurts. It's starting to hurt enough now that many people are waking up and saying they are not comfortable with complacency any more.

What I find most disturbing about Americans, is how few even care about politics enough to pay attention to what is actually happening, until it's too late.
