Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumSo today on DU I learned...
That unauthorized entry to an employee lunchroom is a scandalous news story.
While...
The mishandling of national security communications is a non-story because they weren't top secret at the time.
And...
Entering a Wall Street dining hall and receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars to tell the wealthy and powerful things the rest of us aren't allowed to hear is no biggie. Furthermore, drawing attention to it is just a distraction from the aforementioned scandalous lunchroom invasion.

(10,786 posts)OH MY GOD! Some Sanders' supporters tried to convince some union workers to vote for Sanders!
OH MY GOD! Sanders' has a few rude online supporters!
OH MY GOD! Sanders' campaign tried to make a better photo op for Sanders' campaign!
OH MY GOD! Sanders wants to give ponies to everyone without also promising magic hats to others!
OH MY GOD! Sanders' campaign tried to investigate an insecure voter contact list!
What "crime" will Sanders commit next? Will he eat with his fork in his left hand? Will one of his supporters put a piece of compost in the trash receptacle? Stay tuned!

Learning things on DU is not all it's cracked up to be. Often, though, I do crack up.

(11,785 posts)It could be that the local worker bees didn't care one way or the other, but a higher-up who's a Hillary supporter had a hissy fit. Hillary accused Obama of doing something similarly underhanded in the casinos in '08.

(45,251 posts)they were Bernie supporters.
The whole story I read was so sketchy. All it said basically was that reports had been received from several hotels. Nothing verified. No callers identified, etc.

...but it was resolved within 8 hours from when the story first broke to when the campaign and the local union resolved it amicably, as reported in the Las Vegas Sun.

(3,764 posts)One Sanders campaign worker was actually a union member and got union name badges or whatever they used to get the other campaign workers in. We have no indication that Sanders or anyone higher up in his campaign approved or even knew about this.

(10,751 posts)...drawing attention to the Wall Street speeches is the worst, most negative campaigning ever seen in the history of elections!
