79. Actually, there is no federal constitutional right to vote.
Thu Mar 3, 2016, 08:11 PM
Mar 2016

And most Americans don't realize it. Besides the utter chaos of the 2000 election, this one jarring fact stood out:

"On December 12, 2000, in Bush v. Gore the U.S. Supreme Court said that “the individual citizen has no federal constitutional right to vote." As a result, states’ rights reigned over individual rights because there is no citizenship right to vote in the Constitution. A federal right to vote in the Constitution would have required all the votes to be counted because an individual right to vote would have taken precedence over Florida's law."

You can read more about it here:
http://www.acslaw.org/acsblog/does-the-us-constitution-guarantee-americans-an-affirmative-individual-right-to-vote

There are many articles about this startling fact. There's another good article about it here:

With Bill Clinton appearing at several polling sites and one site being locked for two hours while he made an appearance, there was a boatload of questionable things taking place. Voter suppression has been mentioned, just for starters.

With the votes being so close, it warrants further scrutiny.

In fact I could go on a long rant about how Trump is evil, but in many areas, he is the lesser evil (Planned Parenthood position, Libya/Syria/Middle east position, and even Elizabeth Warren gave him points on his higher taxes for the rich) yes I know he's "still very evil" but its absurd how the other republicans who are to the RIGHT of Trump on those issues, are not officially designated crazies, only him....And on Libya/Syria/Middle east, Hillary herself is to the right of Trump...again only he gets called crazy, not her positions (which are worse than crazy...they are mass murder costing us trillions of dollars..one calculation by a nobel prize winning economist working with harvard professor, is $3 Trillion cost)...but i'm here to mostly post about Bernie and a pro-Bernie parody son about Hillary

...And Bernie would have to overcome a 17,000 deficit to win, so a win is not happening. But what IS interesting is the margin of victory has continued to narrow to a near tie as the votes are almost all counted. It's likely what's left are overseas (military, expats, etc.), so the last .05% of votes will continue to trickle in.

VERY tight race!! Great job Bernie and all who voted, phone-banked, and knocked on doors!! We're in it to win it..... All the way to the CONVENTION!!
