Related: About this forumHad to retrash the HRC forum. Their snide, crass, ugly remarks were getting to my blood pressure.
What is it about improving the country that upsets them so much? Are they that invested in their glorious leader's destiny?

(390 posts)or get left in the dustbin of history. One would think people would be excited about embarking on a NEW NEW DEAL, but no, not those clowns, they want to bring back the DLC.

(390 posts)I think HRC supporters fall into two groups; 1. HRC worshippers. 2. People too scare or afraid to fight for a better country, they have been bought to heel.

(17,064 posts)For all practical purposes they're republicans. Like their 'leader', they cherry-pick a couple of social issues to delude themselves they're 'progressives', but on economic and foreign policy they're solidly Reaganites. I don't see an option moving forward except for a party split. While the left is willing to support some of their social issues, they are adamantly against supporting any issues of importance to the Left. Unwillingness to compromise doesn't bode well for a marriage or coalition.
