Had to retrash the HRC forum. Their snide, crass, ugly remarks were getting to my blood pressure. (Original Post) CBGLuthier Mar 2016 OP

I almost regret advocating for cross-aisle tactics yesterday.

or get left in the dustbin of history. One would think people would be excited about embarking on a NEW NEW DEAL, but no, not those clowns, they want to bring back the DLC.

I think HRC supporters fall into two groups; 1. HRC worshippers. 2. People too scare or afraid to fight for a better country, they have been bought to heel.

Take your blood pressure meds first. Then peruse over my olive branch thread and its glorious reaction. It's a real hoot.

For all practical purposes they're republicans. Like their 'leader', they cherry-pick a couple of social issues to delude themselves they're 'progressives', but on economic and foreign policy they're solidly Reaganites. I don't see an option moving forward except for a party split. While the left is willing to support some of their social issues, they are adamantly against supporting any issues of importance to the Left. Unwillingness to compromise doesn't bode well for a marriage or coalition.
