Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumIt should be painfully clear now that the media will not cover ANY Bernie rallies,
as huge as they are.
Another poster just put up a feed of one.
I think we should start an organized patrol.
We should remain vigilant for, and post any such feeds far and wide across the inter webs.
We have to fight back against their self-entitled arrogance.
They are like succubus.

(23,867 posts)I'm surprised they didn't pick up on the feed I'm listening to now. But they are vigilant to get us every feed.
Not only that, but they have a guy or two who have been flying to these, and even using cellphones, they have covered events. This has been fun.
But the msm has fucked up. They're irrelevant now.

Break up all monopolies not just the banks. MSM to big to report the facts.

(8,812 posts)The strategy is to suppress coverage of differing views until your goal is a fait accompli.
Then, once your mission is accomplished, you can accuse dissenters of being disloyal, of harming the effort, or of wanting to "cut and run."

For contrast, compare with actual non-events like the "Dean scream," which was shown an estimated 633 times by cable and broadcast news networks in just four days.

(3,017 posts)but MSNBC and CNN showed both the Romney speech and Trump's response in their entirety today. I am sure Fox did as well. Trump was rambling on with personal tales and I would guess he talked for 45 minutes.
The good news is that all of Bernie's recent speeches have been available online, both live and via replay shortly afterwards.

(6,719 posts)Watched Bernie in Kansas. Had MSNBC on mute. Interesting contrast. Bernie was substantive and solid and the audience was so with him. MSNBC was all Trump and Romney. I mean, how many times do we need to see Trump and Romney??!! I have seen articles saying this is the end of the Repub party. I think it might also be the end of cable. No content.

The numbers don't lie and are immensely impressive for the hardest working candidate out there.

(10,558 posts)We were unable to hand the next generation as good a life as the one we had handed to us. At 62 I look at the children who aren't even old enough to vote yet and I can't help but think, "My God, what have we done!" Well if the damned corporate run media won't allow for the truth to get out, maybe we can help get it out with the internet media. It is rapidly become the one most of the 18-30 year olds now turn to for their information and information in a democracy is still the coin of the realm. With their help, with all of our help, we may yet turn things around in order to create a better life for all of this planet's children.

(18,791 posts)On my way home tonight...CBS Radio in Los Angeles (KNX1070 traffic channel)...
Rump, Rump, Rump...multiple blathering political experts...
One little mention of "Hillary"...more blather...tossed in a very not likely Bloomberg comment...and Jesse Ventura if "Hillary" fails; laughter.
ALL this dribble........not one, single solitary mention of Bernie.
If that isn't a blatant and coordinated blackout on him, then I don't know what is.
At least we know that the Chairman of CBS (whatever his name is) has wet dreams over Rump.
