Amid high turnout, Michigan primary precinct runs out of Democratic ballots in mix-up

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Polling places are busy on this primary election day in Michigan, with some locations reportedly running out of ballots.

Multiple callers at Plainfield Township precinct No. 3 -- the Ambrose Ridge Apartments -- told WZZM that Democratic ballots have run out.

There was some sort of miscommunication between the Kent County clerk's office and this particular precinct, reports WZZM's David Bailey. Democratic ballots destined for this precinct were sent to another by mistake, an official said.

They were without ballots for about two hours, and people were turned away.

and I vote early every time, the set-up is that the ballot is printed on the spot. What a novel concept.

but that benefits the Oligarchy, so I don't expect it to change anytime soon (unless Bernie wins).

Need Jimmy Carter to come and over see our elections, he does great in 3rd world countries. And looking at Flint, MI thing I think we now qualify for it.

Standards that the Carter Center requires in order for them to go in and monitor an election.

how pathetic is that? Our elections are so screwed up and non-transparent that they are worse than those in third-world countries.

I'm getting really curious as to what he would say about the democratic primary so far.
He's not entirely disengaged from the process, I think? Although he is an outsider president, which is a good thing.
