Having read the 1985 profile of Bernie, I feel so strongly that Bernie needs an ad that

focuses on all that he accomplished as mayor which is an executive position. Actually the article would make a great template for such an ad.

Such an ad would put to rest the lie that Bernie is a communist as under his watch and leadership, business boomed as the city was revitalized.

The following is a more recent article, I posted some days ago that looks at all Bernie's time as mayor with facts about his leadership that enabled him to turn his vision into reality. These facts need to receive wider attention.

he made things happen, good things and that he was nationally recognized for his successes. And they need to see his hands on, fiscally responsible, common sense approach to fixing problems.
