At work this weekend, five nurses sat in the break room when Trump protesters came up on teevee

There were two Bernie supporters, one leaning Hillary, one who has never voted for a non-Republican for POTUS and one who liked McCain. ALL said they would vote for Sanders in the GE. All were terrified of how the Donald was rising in the process. One Republican would never vote got HRC, one would vote for her if Trump was the GOP nom.

isn't the issue ...

People wildly over estimate the influence of the political class.

They don't put guns to people's heads to make them vote one way or another.

They tend to hedge their bets on people who are inline with what they want AND who have some voter appeal.

The issue is that, Hillary's name and voter appeal.

There just are a LOT of people who vote name, one way or another.

This has been Bernie's issue in this race FAR more than all of the political machinations that people who are geeked up on this stuff like us talk about here.
