If everyone of us would commit to just 5 a day - we could make a difference.
Or we could just continue to watch her win.

(9,745 posts)but honestly, I am afraid I will get very emotional. Every time I go to the page to sign up, I feel myself choke up. I'll cry on the phone. LOL. Not sure what to do!

Look at yourself in the mirror while you talk and SMILE! Keep looking at yourself smiling while you are on the phone.
You could probably get the script from that site I posted. If it is there, practice while looking in the mirror.

(11,303 posts)on Bernie's web site? Do they send you the names and numbers?
I can't phone bank because am in a wheelchair and dependent on someone to drive me to the calling site. Love to canvas but not this cycle.

(2,603 posts)You're just fishing for voters that may be leaning towards Bernie and recording the info.
Then someone more experienced will call that person you notated to try and motivate them towards Bernie.
Basically entry level is 3 simple questions, all prompted by the PC, with you making a notation. No selling or trying to sell Bernie. If they get hostile you hang up, but your spiel is so short the person you're calling doesn't have the time to get wound up into a rant or rage.
For some reason I thought I'd have to try and motivate them myself. I'm a terrible salesperson, but for Bernie I'd be so passionate I'd either cry (good cry) while talking about him or get pissed off and hang up on them LOL. Maybe I will try it then!
