(11,175 posts)Two things puzzle me (Juror #6) about this alert:
1. Why did anyone think this was hide-worthy?
2. Why did the email to me say that the alert was sent today at 5:40 PM? I just double-checked my preferences and I'm still on Eastern time. The DU server seems to be springing ahead a little too vigorously.
This place is becoming Republican

(15,189 posts)So is pointing out that poll visiting is cheating and those who don't like to get shit on better think twice about Nov. The law can't do anything for us, well, we can show them. It's considered telling someone not to vote for the Queen, even though they can think for themselves and still vote for her. I'm just pointing out how they can show their dissatisfaction about cheaters. That's how I'm gonna do it.

(357 posts)HRC's position on this has done real damage to this cause.
And all for what?
A few more millions which change nothing for her,
but change life itself for a majority of struggling Americans.
Pathetic.

I suggest you let them pick cartoons, no not really, but you have that power to make real statements.
If you notice they have no sense of humour, irony or wit.
I can't think of one in that group that has it.

(15,139 posts)this place is becoming Republican Above Ground because a concept like Medicare for all should be embraced by every Democrat -- you know, people who think (or ought to think) that everybody should have access to affordable health care, I know those on the opposite side of the aisle don't endorse this concept, so in my view, anyone who suggests that Medicare for all is a bad idea is a rightwinger or DINO. And I got alerted upon. Fortunately, the vote to keep it was 7-0.
Dear Hillary supporters,
You have your own protected group, and I leave you the hell alone. I do not alert on any posts there. Please respect my right to post in the Bernie group without unwanted interference.
Thanks

(898 posts)You're dealing with a warped sense of what is right and wrong. They're always right and you're always wrong. Welcome to the perpendicular universe of HillaryLand.

(15,139 posts)What's the point of having a so-called "protected" group if it's open to and posts alerted on by anyone?
Hillary supporters must be born with exceptionally thin skins. Alerting everything posted in Bernie's protected group is counter-productive and does less than nothing to drive up support for her on DU. I've been a contributing member since 2001 and remember when people mostly got along here despite differences of opinion. Unfortunately, that's not the case any more.
