I put them on ignore
but
when I do ...

I try to be polite about it.

Most of them are beyond redemption and that became crystal clear to me after Super Tuesday. What was once 10 has grown to 50 this week alone.

9. I would love to publish my ignore list

It was once empty. Now, it's filled almost exclusively with Hillbots. The thread would be locked immediately. Oh, well.

Ive been posting for 10 years and never had to ignore anyone but the day before yesterday i started the ignore and oh my goodness, i have a whole big long list in just 2 days. DU seems almost normal again.....lol.

17. I know just what you mean.

I've been on here for many years (in spite of my low post count) and had two on my ignore list up until a little over a week ago. And then this place simply became toxic. It was use the ignore list or not visit any more, it upset me so much to see the vile postings from people who supposedly belong to the same party I do. It made me feel filthy. So I now "ignore" the trolls, "ignore" the strawman arguers, "ignore" the baiters, "ignore" the narrow-minded and the no-minded and the robots. There are now 44 on my growing list, and I can almost stand to look at parts of the site again.

I don't post much; I visit here for news and to see the exchange of ideas, the presentations of viewpoints, the exchanges of sides. When people strive to shut down ideas and discussion, unity and humanity, that is something "up with which I will not put."

15. I just realized that I must have half of DU on ignore because

I was reading a post (negative on Hillary) in GDP and I could only see 5 responses out of 45! There must be a LOT of angry Hillary people out there!
