I've noticed something

Every once in a while I'll rec a post I like and later come back to read the comments, only to see it's been unrecc'd. It's happened a couple of times now.

1. Your mouse might be double-clicking?

Mine's a busted-ass thing, and I've been having to fight it to click things just once.

Also occasionally, might be a "burp" on server-side or maybe inyour connection, where the rec shows up for you, but doesn't actually "register" and isn't present when you refresh to the page.

2. An unrec only means that they took theirs away.......not yours.

Only you can take yours back.

At least this is my understanding.

4. Sometimes if it's a slow connection I used to click it once and then again.

That seems to be what you're describing. Now I just click it once and ignore the rest. Seems to work for me. YMMV.
