...the investigations of HRC. I am not going to post the links or the information here, I am just reporting that things are becoming more complicated, not less, and that there have been calls from 12 members of Congress and 15,000 citizens for a special prosecutor to be appointed in order to take political heat OFF Obama and AG Lynch.

(2,603 posts)IF, and that's a strong IF, it won't happen until after the primary.
I can't speak for Obama, but I would imagine he will do all he can to bail her out through a pardon etc if it actually looks like she may face something.
If Hillary does face some kind of 'action' this will go down as one of the most insane elections in US history. A 'criminal' vs a fucking madman.

(50,130 posts)This was all avoidable. Still is, if enough people have enough will to support candidates who are filled with integrity.

(713 posts)this morning on the front page about wiki leaks releasing a lot of emails that have the potential to really damage her campaign. I was watching how fast the replies to it were showing up; I briefly went to send the link to hubby at work, and when I came back it was GONE from the front page of DU. The only way I found it was by going to the email I sent my husband and clicking on the link. It had been moved to some group several clicks away called "good reads".

Thanks for the info.

(35,620 posts)when I was reading my iPad in bed; didn't post it because it's too difficult. But now that I'm up and on my DT, here it is, from Investors Business Daily:
Judicial Watch released 276 documents Tuesday that had been obtained through one of its Freedom of Information Act lawsuits. Among the material are emails that show the State Department under Clinton was coordinating with the Clinton Foundation staff and how foreign governments sought favor through the intertwined State Department-Clinton Foundation link.
As weve said before, it looks as if Clinton used her job at the State Department to funnel cash into her familys nonprofit organization.
The latest batch of emails shows that foreign interests in Libya and Syria were among the many that took advantage of the States close ties to the Clinton Foundation. It was previously discovered that governments in Algeria, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman made donations to the foundation in return for, as far as we can tell, favorable treatment by the State Department.
Judicial Watch reminds us that the Clinton Foundation has accepted millions of dollars from at least seven foreign governments while Mrs. Clinton served as secretary of state, including a $500,000 donation it received from the government of Algeria while Mrs. Clinton served as secretary of state (that) violated a 2008 ethics agreement between the foundation and the Obama administration.

Then there's this:
http://lawnewz.com/high-profile/documents-show-state-dept-closely-coordinated-with-clinton-foundation-after-benghazi-attacks/
The above article focuses on Benghazi, and doesn't get to the point that the conservative Judicial Watch people are making, which is that she mixed up State Dept. business with the Clinton Foundation, until late in the article.
