(41,129 posts)Covering his event live, finally and because they say he has no chance now. How fitting for MSNBC.

(1,890 posts)then my guess would be it's because the stadium isn't totally full. If Bernie gets there and it's full they won't cover much of it and if it's not full....yeah you get the picture.

(1,890 posts)we know exactly how they "cover" Sanders campaign.
quiller4
(2,467 posts)Local TV has been covering. I suspect the amount of free TV this event brought was worth it but it seems like the campaign is spending a great deal of money to win a state they are almost guaranteed to win handily. I have to question whether the time and money would have been better spent in Wisconsin where it is close and Clinton is slightly ahead.
That said, I am a Clinton supporter and if the Sanders campaign wants to spend big for a blowout win here while Clinton is campaigning elsewhere it is OK by me. This weekend is really his last hurrah. The going gets much more difficult after this.

(1,890 posts)for 2 days planning. I'm certainly not going to second guess the campaign. They've been doing pretty good considering the odds against them.

(5,792 posts)MSNBC had a poll yesterday (can't remember what it asked) but in that poll Bernie was at 93%. Now they are showing him tonight.
I think their ratings are slipping.
I think they want to see (probably for Hillary cuz they are her shills) just how many people will watch this on their station tonight. To get a better idea of how many people are interested in Bernie in TV land. Could be.

(2,603 posts)Other than for 10 second flips during commercial breaks on CNN during election nights, I've watched zero MSNBC. For years they were on in the background after work while I did chores etc.
Now, never. I got tired of the Hillary/Trump show all evening.
Since NH I could probably count the total minutes I've even had the TV tuned to M$NBC without breaking single digits.

(2,603 posts)if M$NBC had covered even 1 in 10 of his events.
If he had gotten 1/10th of the coverage Trump has gotten.
The revolution will not be televised. I'm shocked they're even showing this event.

I'm still shocked, Bernie could cost their CEO's serious taxation if he's elected.
