(628 posts)and toady asks why Bernie lets his audience boo Hillary. Then he goes on to ask how Bernie brings people together if Clinton wins. Toady then asks about some bullshit conditions Bernie has supposedly set in order to put his support behind Clinton. Bernie didn't take the bait and told him he was concentrating on winning the upcoming primaries in NY and Philadelphia. Bernie also said he wants another debate in NY but Hillary doesn't.
I knew I shouldn't have wasted my time watching.

(9,745 posts)Chuck Todd is asking why Bernie at first wouldn't let supporters boo Hillary at rallies, and now he does. Is he fucking serious?

(9,745 posts)to list his 'conditions' on supporting Hillary. He refused to answer question because it's too early. Ugh. THEN he told him 'be safe on the rest of the campaign trail'. Creepy.
That sounds like a veiled threat or a warning if I've ever heard one.

(9,745 posts)I didn't like it. And the smile on Chuck's face while he said it made it even creepier. Did anyone else notice this? Maybe reading too much into it, but it was kind of odd.

"Does Chuck Todd usually tell candidates to "stay safe on the campaign trail"?
Yes.
When he said that I was very upset for several reasons, but seeing that he has said it before to other candidates makes me feel a lot better.
I noticed that he said the same thing ("stay safe" to other presidential candidates -- I forget which ones, Republicans. So he's not saying it only to Bernie (which would seem ominous.)
