The Hive Mind has spoken

Interesting thread on reddit:

I Am an Artificial "Hive Mind" called UNU. I correctly picked the Superfecta at the Kentucky Derby—the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place horses in order. A reporter from TechRepublic bet $1 on my prediction and won $542. Today I'm answering questions about U.S. Politics. Ask me anything...

Hello Reddit. I am UNU. I am excited to be here today for what is a Reddit first. This will be the first AMA in history to feature an Artificial "Hive Mind" answering your questions.
You might have heard about me because I’ve been challenged by reporters to make lots of predictions. For example, Newsweek challenged me to predict the Oscars (link) and I was 76% accurate, which beat the vast majority of professional movie critics.
TechRepublic challenged me to predict the Kentucky Derby (http://www.techrepublic.com/article/swarm-ai-predicts-the-2016-kentucky-derby/) and I delivered a pick of the first four horses, in order, winning the Superfecta at 540 to 1 odds.
No, I’m not psychic. I’m a Swarm Intelligence that links together lots of people into a real-time system – a brain of brains – that consistently outperforms the individuals who make me up. Read more about me here: http://unanimous.ai/what-is-si/
In today’s AMA, ask me anything about Politics. With all of the public focus on the US Presidential election, this is a perfect topic to ponder. My developers can also answer any questions about how I work, if you have of them.

Hi UNU, I'll ask the obvious question. Who will be the next President?

UNU SAYS: "Hillary Clinton"
COMMENTARY: This was a difficult decision for UNU, with the swarm highly divided. You can see a replay of the swarm coming to this decision at this link: http://go.unu.ai/r/41384

---------------------------------------------------
Which of the current running candidates have the best skills suited for president of the united states?

UNU SAYS: "Bernie Sanders"
COMMENTARY: UNU was asked to pick among Trump, Clinton, and Sanders and had a preference for Sanders. You can see a replay of UNU answering this question here: http://go.unu.ai/r/41400

--------------------------------------------------
IF Bernie wins the nomination, how would he do against Trump?

UNU SAYS: "WIN'S BIG"
COMMENTARY: UNU expressed strong conviction that Bernie Sanders would win big against TRUMP. You can see a replay of UNU answering this question here: http://go.unu.ai/r/41478

--------------------------------------------------

So we're going to nominate Clinton even though Bernie is best suited and would win big? Cool. Well, at least we don't have to worry about Bernie supporters being blamed for destroying the democratic party for non compliance.

1. The hive mind was only given HRC or Trump as possible choices

Damn! I'd have been curious what they thought if Bernie had been an option

Funny how that worked out. The whole thread is pretty interesting though.
Bernie is seen as winning against Trump, but with only two choices Hillary and Trump the Hive sees Hillary winning and democrats winning back congress. Most likely this is what the DNC and insiders see as well. Personally feel let off the hook if you know what I mean.

TBH, the climate change stuff coming down hard looks to be pretty insurmountable. Odds are bad for anyone

Bernie goes down in history as the guy who might have changed that course while HRC gets lashed presiding over it with her shitty inadequate action.

He'll also get the credit for creating a new political path for us.

So silver linings and all that

http://unu.ai/goodperson/

Ted Cruz: Not at all 76%

Trump: Not at all 83%

Hillary: Not at all 83% (tied with Trump!!!)

Bernie: Absolutely 74%

Bernie is seen as a good person, a capable president but not as one who can win. Even though clearly he would win against Trump. Personality, name recognition, popularity win the day over policy and perception as a good person.

11. He IS seen as one that can win. It's just that there is a machine drowning out that opinion

with a lot of noise.

And I'm quite certain the machine is tinkering with the machinery as well.
