They want to strive for "unity". Funny, all I knew about the situation was what I knew from FSTDT's posting, because I didn't start trying to find a home with the AA's, considering my skin tone until shortly before those events, so I'm here like "the fuck is going on here?" And then I saw the post, and put two and two together.
Two hundred and five responses standing in "solidarity" with someone who espoused the most virulent anti-Semitism I've seen since taking a break from FSTDT. Because my faith in humanity was ALREADY through the floor.
This... I didn't put two and two together until now. And I'm all of a sudden ashamed of my blood.
When the decision comes, I'll just be a JPR. I can't do this shit, and it all just hit me like a wave.

Every new place I go to, people assume I'm either mixed or Latino due to skin tone, eye color, and the texture of my hair. But with how easily it seems half of my heritage can excuse egregious racism when it's not pointed at them? And then, 205 posts in solidarity in that forum with this. I'm honestly ashamed of even my half-blackness, reading this. I was brought up believing that all racism was wrong. That racists didn't change, that the only way to end racism was to get rid of the cause-- cut off the hand to save the body, and all that. My mother taught me that, and the funniest thing about that? My mother, the woman who didn't bat an eyelash when I was ostracized from the Baptist congregation I was a part of because I was dating a man at the time-- that woman is black.

Yeah. I can't keep going like this. If they try to alert stalk me again for pointing this out(cause this is exactly why I got flagged for review last time, someone got assmad that I was airing them out and all of a sudden I had like three new hides), I'm not coming back. that African American soldiers during WW2 were in the front lines liberating concentration camps. The army was still segregated back then, and these men were considered to be the bravest by the camp prisoners because they were put in 'front'.
