Rant

God, I'm tired of the onus of uniting the party being put on Sanders supporters

I think most of us are willing to gulp and support Clinton if it means keeping Trump out of town. But this is HER job to do, not ours. She is the one jeopardizing the White House falling into the hands of Donald Trump by failing to appeal to Sanders supporters.

In a democracy the people pick the leaders, the leaders have to persuade to lead. They don't get to lecture the people for standing up for their values.

I'm a yella dog Democrat; it won't take much to win me over. Give me a plan, a speech, and a running mate to show you're serious about cleaning up Washington. Don't harang me because your candidate is too weak & corrupt to close the deal

I agree but unfortunately, judging from the the responses and remarks of her supporters on this site, they don't want, or need Sander's supporters vote, and they will not try to be unifying.
I have never felt Hillary or her team have a clue about how to be unifying.
I fear it will be a case of too little too late.

and can't envsion any change or scenario, even a public confession of guilt, that could re-establish the trust.

People who distort the truth as comfortably as they breathe don't become trustworthy.
Just doesn't happen, or very rarely happens.

Takes a middle of the night visitation from the Ghosts of Liars Past Present & Future to awaken the conscience of a habitual liar. Takes being broken down, back to the beginning, takes humiliation of the ego, and/or life-changing scares. Bill had his law license revoked I believe for lying under oath. What sort of standards matter? I dunnno. Not gonna throw my hope, or my vote, away. This is one compromise not worth making.

just by running has jeopardized the continued Dem control of the WH. I never wanted her to run. Too much same old same old. Too much baggage. Too much Repug animus against her. They'll come out of the fucking woodwork to vote against her. WE need someone who motivates the Republicans to show up and vote? We need that like the proverbial hole in the head. In such a scenario, Dem turnout is likely to be not so good. She and the Dem Establishment will own the coming debacle.

Additionally, I feel the onus is being put on Sanders supporters due to the sheer arrogance of Her fans who somehow think they can dictate to us.

it's her job to convince you that she is worth your vote.

Personally, she won't get anything from me and my family, but I respect those who aren't as set in stone as we are.

The Social Democrats (progressives) and the Corporate Democrats. The Corporate Democrats refuse to recognize that the Social Democrats are a separate entity. They just think we are naughty Corporate Democrats that need to be told to get in line. Because they blindly follow their chosen authoritarian leader they assume we will also. They will never learn. They have risked losing the General because they don't understand that we support principles first. They don't have principles but depend on their authoritarian leader to take good care of them.

Nothing about what they say, what Clinton says, what any establishment turncoat Dem says, especially if it begins with the letter "T" and rhymes with word "fairer" gets a reaction out of me. In fact, just the opposite. Its been used and abused to the point that it just doesn't mean much anymore except to be used as a tool during an election year.

They, all of them, can say anything they want but it falls on deaf ears, a weary soul and an ice cold, calculating heart.

They are all hypocrites and snakes and none are to be trusted.

But I will find it impossible to urge anyone else to do the same and to work for her election as I've worked for Bernie's.
