less than an hour from my house, which is pretty local for me.
Saw the Bernie car pictured above, as well as many other awesome tributes to Bernie. Very hot night (nearly 100 degrees a little before Bernie got there), but still an excellent turnout.
I don't know how to estimate crowd size well, but there were easily several thousand people. I and plenty of others had to park nearly 2 miles away, the streets were lined with cars that far out, that has to be a lot of people. Long walk! Well worth it just to be around this movement.
It was Bernie's third rally of the day that I know of (Fairfield and Berkeley were earlier). He has amazing energy and I think he honestly wants to bring his message to every corner of this nation. He is not only campaigning but is clearly planting seeds for later.
