Higher standards for gun ownership than President?

You may or may not know my positions on guns - rest assured it's probably more restrictive than yours - but even I had a hard time believing that it should be harder to get a gun than be President.

Which is why I found this statement a bit hard to swallow:

Surely, if you believe an FBI investigation is disqualifying on its own, that should also preclude you from running for President?
