Hey, Pie in the Skyers, Idealists: Did you know Bernie's Movement is a "Romance"?

Last edited Tue Jun 14, 2016, 08:16 PM - Edit history (1)

Yesterday it was a "Cult."

I can't wait for tomorrow's term. But why all the negativity and worry. Sheesh!

Never mind, just how it goes..

charged with treason for which the penalty was death as proclaimed by King George III. These brave leaders from Rhode Island and New York to South Carolina and Georgia well knew their fate if they were captured or if we had lost the war with the British.

Progressive author Thom Hartmann's book "What Would Jefferson Do?" details many of the dangers and losses endured by the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence the day they signed the document calling for independence and liberty from Britain. Here Thom reads a passage from his book sharing just how much the signers risked in order to found the United States. Understandably he becomes a bit emotional while describing the great sacrifices they made for America to exist. Well worth viewing. 7:49 mins., (2015).

"Our Founders Risked Everything So Can Vote!" By Thom Hartmann reading from his book, "What Would Jefferson Do?'

because of years of transition away from Democratic values should be of concern in addition to the rapid rise of self identified Independents. Don't understand it, although as Tommy Frank said about his new book "Listen, Liberal" the thinking years ago was "They have no where else to go." How things progress in the next several months will be critical.

quite true, I have been a voting dem for 54 years actually couldn't even vote til 21 for my generation... they are losing left and right most are going indy now, that is what i did after our primary her in Oregon was over ...doubt I will go back they are not my dem party any longer. I see a lot of talk about a new party, someone said something about New Progressive Democrats so maybe that is were it will go never can tell...All I know for sure is that we need something for those of us who are left with no real representation...
