(45,251 posts)very deliberately, IMO. And not very honestly.
leftofcool
(19,460 posts)He has already said he can win with 30 million. His supporters says he does not need the DNC or Wall Street, or Corporations. DNC raises money for the general election, if he does not want it, then so be it.
daleanime
(17,796 posts)that's money that his supporters want to go to Bernie. To fundraiser in this way is disingenuous, wouldn't you say?

(45,251 posts)is giving people the impression that donating to the DNC will help him now. That's dishonest. So is calling it DNC money. This is money that should be going to Bernie, not the DNC. It's Bernie money, not DNC money.
Why are you posting in this group to debate group members to Bernie's detriment, anyway?
leftofcool
(19,460 posts)I just think he will need the money so much more for the general election. He will be going up against the Koch's gadzillions.

(45,251 posts)the Bernie Sanders group. How is that kind of thing okay for the Sanders Group, but not for the Hillary Group?
Besides, debating whether you should be posting stuff like that in this forum disrupts discussion of issues. Please take it to the Hillary Group or GD.

(1,150 posts)If the DNC is going to raise money off of Bernie Sanders' candidacy, they should be direct and honest about it. That email directly mimicked his web site and emails, and I'm depressed that the DNC would sink to such a level. Such deception used to be the purview of the surrogates of the Republican party.

(1,150 posts)It demonstrates profoundly bad judgment and a willingness to grossly deceive Democratic voters. Frankly, whoever signed off on the mailer should be fired immediately.

(14,255 posts)won't need or get a dime from me. Nor will Wasserman Schultz.
I predicted this yesterday. And I got the email from the DNC - yeah, I support Bernie!!!! and ignored the plea for money. Jamie Dimon can afford the DNC more than I can. And he gets more value for his money, for sure.

(4,458 posts)be sent straight to Bernie. None of the "corporate" fund raisers for Dems allow us to "designate" donations to candidates "ABC"...they spread it around to whomever They want.
I don't agree that my money should go to "fake" Dems...so I simply started direct donations.

(9,298 posts)Where was the DNC when a few good Democratic candidates ran in tough races? I've made it a point to return their fundraising letters with NO money and a notation, "Sorry, only support individual candidates directly." Maybe it's time to ratchet it up and unsubscribe.
Have and will continue to support Bernie directly.

(45,251 posts)endorse Republicans, that I know of.
I stopped giving to the DNC sometime around 2010 or 2011. DSCC and DCCC, too. In recent years, I've given only to individual Democratic candidates. I see a lot of DUers saying that. LOTE voting is one thing. LOTE donating, quite another. I drew the line when I saw the Party supporting Republicans over Democrats.
Thespian2
(2,741 posts)I don't have much to give, so I make sure it goes to a person, not a committee...I also agree with you about DSCC and DCCC...seems every time I unsubscribe from their lists, I get another email...
