I just want to say, thank you, Bernie Sanders, for running.

Just thank you. Finally a candidate I can support without any reservations.

I know this is a hackneyed thing to say, especially on a board with so many atheists, but God bless Bernie Sanders.

And finally, a candidate support group that I probably won't get thrown out of. I feel like I finally belong here. (Although I don't think I will get shut out of the Elizabeth Warren group either.)

So just fall in line and vote for whomever has a D after their name. Guess that prediction was flat wrong. And what a relief that someone like Bernie can come along and talk about what so many people are thinking but were always shouted down. People are excited and I hope the momentum keeps going. It's going to be a long, tough primary.

Easy, simple, straightforward vote. No need to wring hands about the vote, no need to worry about it not counting. It's an up and down vote.

And Colorado may go back to the primary process and be one of the earliest states to vote. I'm excited if that happens (if not, the caucus system is really slanted and it would trigger massive depression if I have to endure it again).

reddit has started a campaign. Her endorsement would be huge. And it would be right in line with her principles as well, not a co-opting of her message.

Bernie said all along he was waiting for Elizabeth to throw her hat in the ring. When he announced his candidacy, it signaled to me finally that Elizabeth was not going to run. I immediately became a proud Bernie Sanders supporter.

Hillary Clinton. What a wonderful way for the Clinton folks to attract supporters: bar anyone from the group who doesn't like Clinton. It confirms for me that the Clinton supporters cannot argue in favor of her candidacy. I do not think Hillary is the certain winner in an election that her supporters think she is. I think she has many, many, many problems as a candidate. That's why I am not in that group. I also criticize Obama although I think he is great and worked extremely hard to get him elected. The groups are, in my opinion, rather peevish.

and clannish.
but I do have to give props to the mods here for not doing the same although they clearly strongly disagreed w/ me on my previous posts.
heard bad things abt obama v hillary, hopefully this primary will be a little kinder.

Makes it interesting. We are all political junkies. That also makes it interesting. We will disagree on one thing and strongly agree on another. So there really aren't the clans that at this moment appear to exist.

The moderators do a great job.

DU is a lot of fun. And many DUers are very compassionate and caring. I like that so much.

as such get super-bummed when there's a bad reaction to one of my posts.
generally speaking, I think democrats are really wonderful people. and judging from all the kittens and 'my mom died of cancer' condolence threads, much, much nicer than I. :0
