This graph reveals exactly how much more the media covers Trump than Bernie

Bernie Sanders officially launched his presidential campaign a month before Donald Trump did, but TV networks have nonetheless covered Trump 6 times more than they covered Bernie in 2015. The two most popular networks covered Trump ten times as much as they cover Sanders.

The GDelt Project, which maintains a database containing over a quarter billion records of the world’s news media in over 100 countries, has now launched a 2016 presidential campaign tracker. GDelt’s tracker monitors mentions of candidates across 9 television networks — Al Jazeera America, Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, Comedy Central, Fox Business, Fox News, LinkTV, and MSNBC.

In each instance, networks devoted far more air time to Trump than to Bernie Sanders, even on days when Sanders broke record after record for campaign rally attendance in Madison, Wisconsin; Phoenix, Arizona; Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon, and Los Angeles.

Remarkably, almost half of Donald Trump’s overall network mentions came from MSNBC (27,060). Even though it markets itself as a liberal network, MSNBC spent more than 5 times as much airtime covering a Republican than it did for Bernie Sanders. CNN (17,842) and Fox News (11,027) were second and third, respectively. Both CNN and Fox mentioned Trump more than ten times as much as they mentioned Bernie Sanders.

No wonder they have become so irrelevant.

Leave them to their old world where people had to rely on them for news.

People have moved on from the Corporate Media. If I watch it at all, it is more for entertainment than for news, just to see how much worse they are than they were before.

whom you are with, we need to put Bernie's name in everyone's ear. If you hear ppl talking about politics, talk about Bernie. If you hear someone complaining about how much their job sucks because they bust their ass with nothing to show for it, talk about Bernie. If you hear a Trumpite complaining about the 'immigration problem,' calmly switch topics if possible and talk about Bernie. We need to be his media. FEEL THE BERN.
