When the mainstream media deign to write about Bernie Sanders, they discuss (1) how he can't possibly win, (2) the effect of his campaign on Hillary's, (3) the unexpected size of the crowds he's drawing, or, as below, (4) trivia.
The media seem incapable of writing about what Bernie is actually saying, and why his candidacy is surging: (1) The savage inequality of income, wealth, and political power that's overtaken America in the last several decades, and his determination to reverse it; (2) The extraordinary power of the moneyed interests over our democracy, and his commitment to restoring democracy; and (3) the understanding that the only way to accomplish (1) and (2) is through a mass movement of Americans, which Bernie's candidacy is generating.
Why won't the media report any of this? Is it because the media are owned by the moneyed interests, or is it something else?

They don't report on Wall Street, they are PART of Wall Street.

How about just ringing the opening bell?

Or getting your campaign financed by Wall Street?
Not in the same league as a booth under the opening bell, I guess. Totally different.
