Think about the crowds Letterman used to generate around the theater. Shooting a girl out of a cannon. Dog jumping into water. McCartney on the marquee of the building giving a concert. These are just a few of the things that generated a crowd. It depends on the guests that he had on. If One Direction was to be on the show - I'm sure there was a crowd of young teen girls surrounding the theater. So if Bernie is going to be a guest on the Late Show and a crowd of his followers just happen to show up to catch a glimpse of him - so be it. I don't think one has to apply for a permit to do that. I think the producers of the Late Show have to deal with that every night depending on the guests that they are bringing to the show.

What a neat thing it would be to have a record crowd out to cheer on Bernie. Go Bernie!!!!! Feel the Bern!!!!!

Let's do it!!!!!

They'll help, for sure!

There are liability issues, and they don't want any bad press.

I'm excited!
