Bernie is prepared. I loved the part that's he's running for working families in the middle class, not against Hillary Clinton.

Sanders, an independent from Vermont, drew support from 13% of likely Democratic primary voters, according to the poll conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center before Sanders' announced his candidacy for president last month. The senator's support doubled from a February poll by the same group that found 6% of Democratic primary voters supported the independent.
Clinton is still the overwhelming favorite in the state with 51% support. And despite repeatedly saying she isn't running for president, Sen. Elizabeth Warren garnered 20% support from those polled.
Sanders' campaign aides have confidently said that their candidate can play in all early nominating states, but are wide-eyed about the fact that because of his politics and geographical connection Sanders' best state will likely be New Hampshire.

When people get to know him, they love him!
Reminds me of a song: To know, know, know him, is to love, love, love him .... lol

(8,352 posts)In less than a week, Sanders has raised quite a bit of money, double in most polls, and is already getting endorsement and supportive words from various factions.
Yes, he may still be the underdog, but if this momentum continues, he has a very real chance of defeating Clinton in the primary and going on to win the general.

(52,589 posts)besides Bernie Sanders in contributions has been Elizabeth Warren. But it's time to call her followers out concerning Bernie. The only candidate that even comes close to her positions concerning Wall Street is Bernie. It's time to tell them to put up or shut up. Warren is not running. Time to support her closest ideological politician, Bernie Sanders. Another 4 or 8 years under Goldman Sachs rule ain't gonna cut it.
