Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumBlind man for Bernie
My legally blind brother just asked me to provide him with some pro-Bernie material to pass out, and wants to know anything he can do to help the campaign.
He has tried to help the party in the past and they have ignored him. Now he is all about Bernie Sanders.
Any suggestions?

(2,968 posts)tell him to help Bernie and the rest of us get him elected!
I find just wearing my Bernie button around starts conversations. It's very positive
and my particular area is conservative. I've had people ask me were I got my button.
I've had people ask me questions about Bernie. I usually don't start the conservation they do.
Sometimes I tell them to watch his speeches online. Once people hear what Bernie has to
say they usually want to vote for him. At least that's been my experience.

(9,645 posts)i would make sure he is familiar with bernies 12 points and then start with friends, relatives and acquaintances....for 2 reasons, to get him feeling comfortable and maybe finding a phone bank partner that could help him with reading the numbers...every campaign needs folks for calls...i like to start calling off my precinct list but the phone book works too
30 to 40% of the country does not know who bernie is much less that he is running...your brother can help us get the word out

(4,879 posts)My brother was looking for something local (maybe a phone number) to volunteer for.
He's been affected by bad policy from day one.
He just wants his voice heard. He thinks Bernie is his best option.
