Do we know if the meeting went off as scheduled? Have there been any accounts of what went on at the meeting? Any reports?

(23,664 posts)A very small number actually showed. What was discussed or agreed, I haven't heard.
You can draw your own conclusions.

(14,255 posts)I believe that NO ONE in Congress is going to risk angering the Clintons, unless Bernie really pulls so far ahead of Hillary that it is safe to do so.
Many months ago, a Hillary supporter smugly announced that of course the Dems in Congress would support/endorse Hillary, that they HAD to, because "D" and because HRC. So I would not worry about this, even though the usual pointlessly negative spin has been put on it elsewhere.

(22,271 posts)Only 6 members showed up, they didn't release what was discussed in the private meeting and indicated there would be ongoing discussions with Senator Sanders in the future.
It saddens me that so few even chose to show up. Showing up at a meeting isn't a show of support, it's a show of being open minded and willing to listen, especially to someone like Bernie.
But maybe this is a long-term thing. #BlackLivesMatter and the Bernie campaign had a few missteps at the beginning but everything got ironed out. Maybe after a series of meetings, more members of the CBC will be willing to attend and engage in an exchange.
