Many people are asking me what they can do to support Bernie and the democratic populist movement he’s spearheading. Here are five specific things:

1. Find out if some group in your community is already organizing for Bernie (Google “Bernie Sanders for President” and your locale). If so, attend their next meeting and bring along everyone you can. Remember: This isn't an anti-Hillary campaign. It's a pro-Bernie, pro-democratic populist movement.

2. If there’s no such group, start one. Let the national campaign know about your group, but don’t wait for permission from the national campaign to begin organizing. They're understandably overwhelmed. Besides, this is a grass-roots movement.

3. Link up with other groups in other communities in your state. If a statewide network already exists, join it. If it doesn’t, help create one.
