(2,328 posts)I have a feeling the ones I went to were pretty low-key versions compared to a traditional one.
Very liberal Jewish friend of the family had us over. The readings got more and more fun as the wine in the glasses got lower. She's moved away back home now, but was a lovely lady who would say she could be accused of inviting us to her seders and other gatherings for the sole purpose of throwing a large party.
She was also better at Christmas than pretty much all the Christians I know.

(2,328 posts)I liked your post.
I try to keep myself from correcting people on the internet, but I'm the kind of person who would want to be corrected, so sometimes I can't help myself.
I think we should brainstorm for other cool ways like this to spread the word about Bernie. I have an apartment with a window that faces the street and people walk by 24/7, so I put a big Bernie poster in the window facing out. No one has thrown anything at it yet.

But decided see what I could find on the word.
