so when I got the email maybe 3 days ago I was literally saying oh my god oh my god oh my god!!!! I hadn't expected him to do any appearances in NYC because we're reliably blue. You know how we're mostly ignored if we're not in "battleground states". GRR.

I assume, since there was very short notice, this Town Hall event was a kind of spur-of-the-moment thing - like, "hey we're already in NYC why not do a fundraiser?"

What do you work at? I work for a law firm.
