BTW, I posted just the subject line of this post to compliment on your faithfulness and stamina in posting pro Bernie before I watched the video, with all its references to Scandinavian countries. Must have been psychic, or, as mother in law say, physic (She knows better, but she thinks it's hilarious every time, EVERY time).

In reference to Colbert's comment about suicide and poverty, here is a statement about and a list of the 10 happiest countries in the world, per The World Happiness Report, via a CNN travel article. I assume the list is ordered happiest nation first.

People who live in the happiest countries have longer life expectancies and more social support, experience more generosity, have more freedom to make life choices, have lower perceptions of corruption and have a higher gross domestic product per capita, the report shows.

Switzerland

Iceland

Denmark

Norway

Canada

Finland

Netherlands

Sweden

New Zealand

Australia

I rest my case, especially given that absence of sunlight causes SAD (seasonal affective disorder--basically, depression) and some of these nations have sunlight "outtages."
