I had anticipated at least several pot shots and I was happily mistaken.
I'll be interested to see if Sanders enjoys the "Colbert bump" phenomenon that politicians who appeared on the Colbert Report enjoyed.

(45,251 posts)3. I recognized the technique because I watched Tim Russert interview Republicans.
Tim would also show clips of the "tough" questions he asked both sides to show how "impartial" he was. However, what Tim did after asking the question made all the difference in the world. RIP, but he was one dishonest "journalist," just a lot smarter about it than his replacements.
