i don't do that. I come here to talk with groups of people, not to engage in a private email battle with someone who can't even post.

I wonder why this person just did not block DU mail from whomever was annoying him or her?

frequent fliers to the "temporary unable to post" group.

the recipient was me. after all these years on du, I've only done the most basic of functions like posting. I just very recently started trashing threads that were upsetting to me, especially having to do with animal cruelty and such. I think I'm going to have to learn block next.

You can trash forums, but you still have to jury in them. And you can ignore a poster for mail only, posts only or both. I've been posting since 2004. Did my first ignore here, about a year ago. I've added more and more since. It's great.

Currently traveling and exploring New Mexico. Just finished the Albuquerque Ballon Fiesta and exploring Carlsbad Caverns tomorrow. I can only post when we settle down for a few days. Expected to be back home at the end of October...
