The very first endorsement that Bernie received for President was from NH state rep Tim Smith, who is also chair of Bernie's NH campaign which, as we know, has been going very well from Bernie. As soon as Smith announced his endorsement, he Smith got much positive reinforcement from supporters of Sanders. He also got peppered with questions, which he graciously, and bravely, answered on his facebook page in public posts. Among those answers was this comment:
# Yes, there has been enormous pressure to endorse a different candidate, but arm-twisting hasn't worked on me since middle school and did not influence my decision. Hopefully other legislators will see the enormous level of solidarity you have all given and be convinced that it's “safe” to do what's right instead of what's easy. #
Smith's response says we may actually be able to move a potentially important needle, just by posting on facebook and reddit and tweeting. Those are about the easiest, least expensive things we can do for Bernie.
Please reinforce on social media the brave things Smith and Grijalva have done for Bernie and Americans.
