and a party at 9pm est on a Tuesday is really inconvenient. that scheduling truly is intentionally bad.

It will air at 6 pm on the west coast. Any earlier would mean fewer people could watch it live there because they would still be at work.

I've been volunteering and I can tell you that Bernie folks are really great. In fact, I will be going to the debate site, working there as a volunteer and staying with my new Bernie friends. I assure you, this is not something I ever would have pictured myself doing but I love the group and Bernie is well worth it.

So, even if you don't got to a debate party, at least look at the site and pick some event you feel you can deal with and attend at least one. I think you will be happily surprised. Bring a friend or relative if needed for support but i guarantee you, you will make new ones. And some of the events don't require a lot of interaction either. Besides, I can already tell from your posts that you will definitely fit in at at any of the events.

For once our group ISN'T the host. PDA is having a gig at the California Nurse's Association office. The local Democrats are having one too but, as I explained in another thread, they have a life-size Hillary cutout and if I recall correctly arson is still a felony so I decided I'd better go tot he PDA event.

one bit. Most women reach a point, when they're older, when wearing high heels is reserved for special occasions and wearing flats with skirts just isn't very flattering. Fortunately I've never been a job that required more than "business casual" dress, but if I did have to dress more professionally, I'd be in pantsuits too.

you don't really care if it's flattering -- it's all about the comfort. One of the many benefits of getting older.

Ours is supporting Bernie. They are having their hoe down in Los Osos. We are going to San Luis.

I just re-read my post and I can see where it was unclear. It's the other reason I wanted to go to their watch party, no Hillary supporters swooning over her every word.

college town that is turning over all it's TVs over to the debate. It should be raucous if nothing else. It will be interesting with all us grannies rubbing elbows with the millennials.

I just realized that 4 unique bingo cards will not be enough, unless i want 25 winners per game.
I will start a new thread looking for cards. I got red/white/blue poker chips to use as markers!
