My support for Hillary just plummeted

I was blocked from her group.

I had nothing against Hillary. I was all set to vote for her until the real thing came along. I was all set to vote for her if Bernie faltered. I now won't vote for her in the general even if the ticket is Trump/Romney. I can't support a candidate whose people hate.

Supporters though aren't the same as the candidate, you need to remember that. I can't stand Hillary myself, she doesn't represent me personally & I don't trust her. Keep in mind that her supporters aren't being elected, she is. Weigh out the issues, where she stands and ask yourself if she's the best choice for this country. If that suits you then continue your support for her. Know this though, are you sure you're comfortable with a candidate who has a mini series length of changing her mind on just about every single issue? Honest question.

That blames Bernie supporters for alienating people of color.

These kinds of accusations fly hard during a heated contest. The Clintons are hard, hard, hard campaigners.

for being mean to PoC after the BLM protests.

And then after Hillary told BLM to shut up, the same Hillary supporters attacked Bernie for being weak in not standing up to BLM.

Truly disgusting people.

I understand why Hillary is afraid to debate, but not her supporters, most of whom are decent folks...just misguided in their support of a warmongering corporatist.

Hillary can try to channel her "inner Bernie" all she wants on that debate stage...she's not gonna fool anybody, but, maybe herself. She apparently doesn't know who she is anymore, she's flip-flopped so many times.

The Hillary group is their safe haven and they do not want any debate at all. There are similar rules here. This has nothing at all to do with the merits of Clinton as a candidate. These people are not her employees, her unpaid volunteers, or in any capacity speaking for the Clinton campaign. If they are behaving like a bunch of petulant spoiled children that really has nothing to do with Clinton.

dissension or suggestion that Hillary is not somehow Saint Hillary, the Anointed One. At least they've stopped complaining so much about criticism of her on the rest of DU.

I was banned from there pretty early on.

On the other hand, the guns people are the most wonderfully tolerant group on this board. I've gone there and expressed my utter opposition to guns and while they always push back at me, I've never been banned there and I appreciate that very much.

just as the Bernie Sanders Group is for people who want Bernie to win the primary. IMO, you did not belong there. I got blocked for being there accidentally, too.

If someone wanders into your home by mistake, you still have a right to lock him or her out.

As far as honest debate, you can debate about Hillary on every other forum on the board, except that one. That is the only place on the board where they can discuss Hillary without having to argue though. I don't want to have to defend Bernie in this group, either. That's not what it's for.

I have actively supported Bernie and have not been locked out of H's group. Occasionally I even have something to post there. I was disappointed when I saw the "Hillary Supporters" website, but that is a separate thing and I've decided to just ignore it. There are "third way" people I really don't feel any kinship with, but a number of Hillary supporters either (1) would really like to see a female president and/or (2) think she is the candidate with the best experience to win in the general. I may not agree with their assessment, but it's easy to respect those folks.
