Are not the types looking for a Biden.

I DO have one coworker who really likes Bernie and dislikes Hillary, and would like Biden to run. But he's in the camp of hoping Bernie will win, but has doubts that he could.

3. I think he'd siphon off some of Hillary's support, so it would help Bernie.

I don't think Biden will really enter the race, though.

culling the field. Chaffee and Webb also need to drop out gracefully and endorse either O'Malley, Clinton or Sanders.

Narrowing down the Dem side just makes The Repubs look even more unorganized.

New York Magazine has provided this timeline of how long Biden can continue to delay declaring and still have a viable path:

in while the electorate begins to pay attention, but to drop out after he's garnered support, presumably from many who would have supported Bernie if they'd been paying attention. Then Biden will ask all his supporters to shift their support to Hillary. The Establishment is afraid of the Bernie momentum and they might just convince Biden that he's saving the country, or some such nonsense. So even though Biden won't be president, he'll still be a hero.
