To all Bernie supporters

I just want to say that I appreciate all your efforts to get the word out about Bernie. He is the best presidential candidate in my adult lifetime, and we will lose a tremendous opportunity if we don't get this man in the White House.

The best part is a revision of T.S. Eliot's famous line -- "Do I dare disturb the universe?" -- from "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock"

I have felt that also but it has been almost two generations without this kind of candidate. Perhaps the spring has been wound tight enough for us to unleash the reality of a truly progressive revolution long repressed.

First, Repuke's are going to lose Senate seats anyway. We have 33 possibilities and have good odds to get the Senate back. And that is a good thing if you want to keep from having another Roberts or Alito on the Supreme Court.

Second, Bernie mentioned this briefly back when the campaign was just starting. If there is a large turnout in the GE (and there is no indication there won't be), it's going to also transform many House and State House contests. Bernie is well on the way of creating a very large base which will make these changes happen. I think he mentioned (depending how he does in the primaries), he will start campaigns for both state and national races.

So basically, we have to continue working toward getting more people energized about Bernie's campaign. Its still early. But with the momentum we have now, who knows how much bigger this movement will get.

I feel sure he would endorse the nominee and do his best to assure a continuing movement in and outside of Congress.

I don't think he could win with CU in place, gerrymandering, voter restrictions, as well as having inadequate poling places.

But the movement needs to galvanize around fixing those problems. Unite with one and all to demand public financing.

I see issues and obstacles his most ardent and positive thinking supporters are not addressing. And I don't want any Republican near the Oval Office!!

Stop saying I'm clever and face the facts. Bernie admits surprise at his success. I don't think he has the adequate staff to a dress these very real obstacles. All that may be needed is a few really adept advisers.

You? ... Hillary? ... No wonder you don't even have that on your agenda - Hillary = more of the same, wishy washy, weak at the knees, Semi-republican half assed DNC nonsense of which we have already suffered enough ...

If you don't believe in big things, you will never change your world ... I believe that Bernie represents a HUGE break from the status quo, in favor of regular citizens ...

Frankly, I believe the DNC and Hillary supporters are fucking up the chance in a lifetime to change the very ground we walk on ...

And if Bernie loses, and Hillary wins, and SHE loses to Trump, et al? ... What happens to the party then? ... Do we all quit the party so you, Hillary and DWS can hand pick the 'right' party members? ...

Bernie is the best thing to happen to the electorate in a very long time ... I'm pretty sure the Middle Class may cease to exist after HILLARY I ....

There is a post here in the African-American group suggesting that Bernie's supporters are angry, white males. Not true. Not true at all.

Lots and lots of females in my Bernie group. The first meeting was mostly females. We are by no means all white. In LA we have lots of Hispanic Bernie fans.

This is about policy ideas to best make our country better than it has ever been before. FOR ALL OF US.

There are plenty of AA and Hispanic people that will end up voting for Bernie. It's ultimately just common sense.

Just my humble opinion.

so much pearl clutching re the debate. If anyone expects the owners and their paid off media to stand up and scream "Bernie Wins!!" then you really haven't been paying attention.

This will be a big fight every single day. Bernie knows that because he has been fighting them for 20+ years.

Stay positive, work harder.

Every minute that we spend writing on DU about Bernie vs. Hillary is wasted. We need to get out and go door to door and get the word out and write checks. I am not posting anymore, just working. This is our golden chance and it is the chance of a lifetime. People all over this country and all over the world are counting on us. For people in other countries this is a life and death matter. I don't know about you but I have seen enough death. To work!
