Bernie Sanders campaign to open Worcester office
The campaign of presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders will open an office Saturday on Park Avenue.
The office will be at 256-258 Park Ave., a location previously used by Democratic candidates, including Mayor Joseph M. Petty, U.S. Sen. Edward J. Markey and former Attorney General Martha M. Coakley.
On Jan. 2, nearly 3,000 people attended a rally for Mr. Sanders at North High School.
According to the Sanders website, supporters of the Vermont senator are invited to gather at the new office Saturday and carpool to New Ipswich, New Hampshire, to knock on doors, three weeks ahead of that state’s primary.
