Interesting conversation about Bernie Sanders. The "guy with the fly away hair".

Someone who regularly comes my home is Republican...as most here are. She's a moderate type, pretty open-minded. However we are careful when discussing political stuff.

She suddenly asked me to tell her more about the guy with the fly-away gray hair who is running for president. She said her family had been listening to him a couple of times on the news. She said they really liked what he was saying. Turns out her family is not impressed at all with the Republican candidates.

She was interested I was already donating to and supporting him.

If it's a good message people will listen.

They have no sensors to pick up anything that doesn't happen in their closed little echo chamber of incestuous chatterers.

"Conventional wisdom" is nearly always synonymous with officially sanctioned stupidity.

he is to their own ideals.

Here's why: The spectrum of the current government is center of right or right-wing all my entire life. I'm only 39, and I'm tired of seeing the same damn thing, and want to try something radical or makes sense for a large country and its citizens. What best way to lead America to the left, of JFK, of FDR, and bring in actual jobs with the budget adjusted heavily from Defense to the public infrastructure, improvements on alternate energy, welfare, re-creating a middle class with living wages. Middle class spending is what generates the economy, and if the middle class does not have the job, the welfare, or anything to spend and return it to its cycle, instead of the fat cats holding on to its wealth and refusing to release it back to the cycle.

That is what the income inequality is about - if the few billionaires hold the same wealth as 130 other million of Americans, then there's a major income inequality.

In the 50s, it was at a ratio of a reasonable 20:1 in terms of wealth. Now it's something like 251:1
