Attention Bernie Volunteers

An important point I want to make that I learned in our recent meeting. This is a good time to write your elected official in House or Senate who is an undecided delegate or committed to Hillary. If they ask you for money, tell them your budget is already committed to helping Bernie because you "feel the Bern."

I wrote my representative and told them "this a golden opportunity for our country." I also said I'm feeling the Bern as well. And even my Senator in Oregon that if they commit to Bernie, it would be a wonderful thing for this country (I think Pete DeFazio is supporting Bernie but not sure).

I wrote some other reasons I'm backing Bernie, but the point is to let them know their constituency is "Feeling the Bern." But I believe if enough committed delegates know the direction wind is blowing, they may switch.

I'm not all that familiar with the delegate process. I didn't do it when Dean ran in 04--just knocked on doors and made calls.

So anyway, I'm posting this as an FYI if we need to let our Congress critters know where we standing if they are delegates.
