care proposal against Barack? Was it because BO promised public option that would achieve the same thing? We know what happened to public option after that.

to purchase insurance. HRC was proposing a mandatory plan, while Obama opposed making it mandatory. So really, since Obama went with the mandate once elected, no effective difference, as far as I know.
