At Barrs lying session. She clearly and cogently took him apart today, allowing no wiggle room.
Shes a force to be reckoned with.

(37,648 posts)Most of them had executive experience. That was my point.
Lawyer vs executive. Two different sets of skills. One CAN cross over. And she was the D.A., which is executive of a sort.
Many Presidents had been Governors for that reason.

(623 posts)Do you understand that she ran the Department of Justice for the most populous state in this country -- she supervised an extraordinarily large department of the California state government. She is a great lawyer but she is MUCH more than just an lawyer. So, don't put her down on that score, please because that is BS.
Kamala is great!

(37,648 posts)No, I didn't know that she'd been AG. That is executive experience of a sort, I agree.
But that's how I see her. Sorry.
But if she gets the nomination, I'll gladly vote for her.

so many of the Democratic candidates would be good presidents. at first when she announced, I was very happy because she ticks all my boxes: woman, black, young. since then i have been enchanted by Buttigieg, Inslee, and currently Warren. I think right now Harris is 2nd on my list, but clearly that is subject to change.
i'll vote for the Democratic nominee, even if it's one of the several I would not vote for in other circumstances.
