Here's my view on President Joe Biden and healthcare

If he is president he will sign whatever healthcare bill is passed by Congress.

Same is true for prison reform, environmental legislation, minimum wage, or any other progressive platform idea.

The problem is not getting a Democratic president to sign legislation.

The problem is getting progressive legislation passed by both the House and the Senate.

That's what we should focus our energies on.

primary today, I would vote for:

I want a President who has priorities, helps shape important legislation, and works to get his ideas implemented.

And, for me, I want to a President who is moderate on healthcare but very progressive on environmental issues and prison reform. Biden wins me on healthcare, I don't know about environmental, and probably not on prison reform.

And he does have a good environmental record:

We need to focus on getting rid of McConnell as much as getting rid of tRump.
