I have a belief

That truth and good win in the end. Or at least, that liars are eventually outed and bullies taken down. Call it karma or whatever.

It's what keeps me going.

6. Most things come around sooner or later. Good will come. Then evil will come again. Then...

good will come again.

The "good" and the "evil" change with the times and the people. The "when" is never known.

Many waited for the good to come during WWII. It did come, eventually.

I checked out Trump's tweets today, for the first time in a while. He has gone off the rails. To us, that's bad. To his vampires, that's great. Our country is so ramped up...people are getting shot every week, now. Hate is everywhere.

The fact remains that Mueller held the country in his hands, and he failed us. He's an honorable man, and in his judgment, no indictment was warranted or possible. The key word is "judgment." Another person could have, would have, made a different call.

The Russians are still all around us, probably already intervening in the election process. They may be better at the hacking this time than last time.

The economy and stock market are doing great. Consumer confidence is high, interest rates and inflation are low. If that remains, people will think twice before voting for something that may change that. Do we hope for a recession?

We can't remove Trump from office through impeachment. Could we also try to indict him? Do the Democrats have the power to do that, without any Republicans on board? If we do, that's the only way I can think of to remove him.

We wait it out until 2020, vote, and cross our fingers. What else can we do? And yes, impeach Trump for historical purposes this year.

The deficit is the highest in istory and continuing to grow. The Rs are propping up the economy thusly. This obviously was their plan. Every time there is a R admin it goes this way.

Dems need to harp on this and explain it in story fashion to the public as the enormous burden it is on our descendants.

8. I agree. I do NOT believe that unemployment is at a decades-low rate.

That's just not what I see. Could it be they're fudging the numbers, since it's controlled by Trump people? It's a shame we have a President who would order that.

The public doesn't care about the deficit. We political junkies know what a deficit means. We have to pay the piper sooner or later, and it'll fall on the backs of the middle and working classes.

I just hope there are enough in the country who know what's at stake in the next election.

As for which candidate stands the best chance, I have no idea. I just don't know.

They get laid off and no one wants to hire someone in their 60s. They take early Social Security because they have no choice and that reduces their benefit by 25%.

The good and the truth win in the end which means we need to consistently push in that direction, despite those who are seduced by baser instincts. Bullies rely on fear, intimidation, scape-coating and gross ignorance. We see this on a daily basis.

It's all about keeping the faith.
